I am so happy summer is here, as I am starting my families again.  As many of you know……  I adore family photography, and this family is one that I loved! The kids were so very nice, they giggled, laughed at one another and just made my job so easy. Mom & Dad were just as sweet, and did some awesome jumping. Hmmm……this may be one of my favorite jumping families yet??!!! Thanks for letting me take your family photographs.

I had the pleasure to photograph this very sweet family. Nothing makes me smile more than a family that loves one another and loves outdoor family photographs. We had a another beautiful day in Minnesota for this family. Complete with missing front teeth :)  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I LOVE, love my job.

A little bit more on the photo walk journey.  I had an amazing time leading this walk, meeting so many people who share my passion for photography.  I am not a writer, not ever close,  but I will try to showcase some of the work that my fellow camera carrying friends took while on the walk. I also was asked to pick a winning photo from the day…that was hard, so hard. I had 3-4 photos that really could have won, but alas only one winner. I picked Tracy, I loved that she took this image of our group above. Tracy has an eye and loves photography and it shows in her heart.  Her image spoke to me, and that is why it is a winner! Congrats to you, Tracy.This is another image that I adore, it was taken by Erin.   This is an beautiful image, so simple, elegant and just sings. You are a gifted photographer, Erin!Cristie had another great image, one of Jack, our Model for the day. Great job in capturing Jack, and I love the processing on it.And one of my all time favorites, was taken by Coleen. It is a photo of Jack & myself…Love it!Thank You to all who came out to Chaska for the day. What is a photo walk? Well, we’re so glad you asked!
It’s an organized event when a bunch of photographers (in this case, a
whole lot of i heart faces
fans as well!) get together to walk around a certain area photographing
… all the beautiful architecture they see, the interesting people they
meet and anything else they can find in their camera’s viewfinder. It was great fun!!!

Miss Rachel is the third of 3 sister, and last sister that I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. Her sisters, and her Momma are wonderful people.  Thanks for letting me photography your beautiful family for so many years,  I am truly lucky to do what I do!
